If you and your ex spouse or partner have difficulty communicating in your session, Settlement Works offers a special set of processes developed and designed to open the channels of communications. These exercises may also be incorporated into your session at any time at your request, without additional charge beyond the normal session fees.

Settlement by Decision™
With even minimal effort and openness, most parties are able to resolve all of their disputed issues by compromise and agreement. To those participants who want to be guaranteed that, no matter what, their issues will be decided at the close of the session, Settlement Works offers a program called Settlement by Decision. In this process, the parties agree, in writing, that if a settlement has not been reached within a pre-agreed number of sessions, the mediator will resolve the remaining disputes for you. This decision will be binding on both parties and become an order of the Court, just as if you had gone to Court and the Judge had issued a decision in your case. In this way, even if you and your ex are unable to come to an agreement on your own, you are assured of a legal resolution, by an experienced lawyer.
